Tyre Check Tuesday

We are encouraging all Australian motorists to take a couple of minutes out of their day on the first Tuesday of every month to check their tread depth and pressures. You should be checking your tyres weekly, but a monthly reminder will help to make sure you do that all important visual check on the most important component on your car!

When you receive the SMS, take a few minutes in your day to do a quick visual inspection of your tyres for:

• Irregular wear and/or any visual damage.
• Check your tread depth to make sure your tread is still within safety requirements.
• Drop in at the servo to check your tyre pressures. Air at the servo is one of the few things that is still free.
