Rodney Jane collected his second Pro-Am win on the trot, using a cool and calculated approach to claim one class race win and the overall victory.
The results mean that Jane has extended his lead in the Pro-Am class, having claimed the class win at Sydney Motorsport Park’s first round.
Jane qualified lower than he had expected, but weaved his way through a carnage-filled event to score second in class.
In the second race, even more damage was sustained to the pack – but not to Jane – who dodged the mayhem to record another race win.
In the third and final race on Saturday, Jane played a cool hand, finishing fourth in class, enough to secure the overall win.
In the Pro class, Marcos Flack joined Jane on the podium, finishing third overall to rejuvenate his 2025 Carrera Cup campaign.
Flack recorded results of fifth, third and fourth, giving him enough points to claim third place outright.
The result comes off the back of his race win on debut at Albert Park 12 months ago, underlining his affinity with the Melbourne street circuit.
Angelo Mouzouris also had some great pace over the weekend, qualifying seventh and, at that stage, looking like Bob Jane T-Marts most competitive driver. However, Mouzouris was taken out in an early incident that dropped him down the order, compromising his weekend.
Mouzouris claimed a best result of ninth in Race 2, and even that result was compromised by incidents of others that cost him time and positions.
The third round of the 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Championship will be held at Hidden Valley Raceway on June 20-22.

“It was a good weekend. I’m very happy with the overall result,” said Jane.
“I was hoping to have more pace in qualifying, but it wasn’t to be, and then the first race was chaotic. There was mayhem everywhere."
“I made the most of other’s mistakes, and with the two safety cars, but ended up finishing second, so I was pretty happy with that."
“In the second race, I made a good start, I avoided about three massive shunts in front of me …. You have those moments where you say “do I go left or do I go right” – I went left and avoided it. Take the other option and your weekend is over."
“The car felt better to me in the second race and I ended up winning my class, which was a really good result."
“I was a bit conservative in the last race. My rivals had a bit more pace than me, but I stuck with them which got us the round win. I was a little over cautious, but it got us the round win."
“It’s been a long time between round wins, and now I have two in a row!”
Marcos Flack

“I’m almost speechless. I’ve doubled up – podium at Albert Park last year, and now a podium this year,” said Flack."
“Maybe this is my track? If only there were eight rounds here at Albert Park!"
“As a whole, it was a great weekend. The team at Sonic did a great job."
“We also had a lot of corporate support from our sponsors this weekend, so it’s really cool to reward them with a podium result."
Angelo Mouzouris

“It was a bit of a character building weekend,” said Mouzouris.
“We were quite quick, qualified seventh, and there was a lot of room to gain, but I got caught out by a red flag."
“In Race 1, I got taken out completely. We were sitting in the top five and my weekend basically ended there and then."
“In Race 2, everyone crashed in front of me so I had to avoid it and I lost a fair amount of positions. I clawed back, but the same thing happened again – I had to avoid an incident – so ninth was the best I could do."
“The last race was a lot of work. You can’t race without a splitter, so that was an issue. I just tried to hang on."
“Again, it was a character building weekend, so hopefully we can fix it for the next one.”
